Dr. Daniel Rodriguez
Dr. Rodriguez is currently an active member of the Mexican Council of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as the Costa Rican Academy of Maxillofacial Surgery and the AO Foundation for the Study of Osteosynthesis.
His career also includes teaching as a clinical professor at the University of Costa Rica, multiple surgical rotations in the main hospitals of Mexico City, having been chief resident in his postgraduate program, and graduating with an honorable mention.
He places more than 2,000 implants per year and has completed 200 zygomatic implants.
Additionally, he is fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
Dr. Daniel Fernandez
Dr. Daniel Fernandez Trujillo studied at the Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología (ULACIT) (The Latin American University of Science and Technology), where he graduated with a degree in Dentistry in 2005. He then earned a specialty in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá, Colombia, in 2014.
For Dr. Fernandez Trujillo there is no greater satisfaction than working daily on the dental health of his patients and providing them a better quality of life, aesthetics, and oral function, following the highest standards of the profession.
Dr. Fernandez’s key concern is to offer the patient the best treatment options available through interdisciplinary work –complemented by all branches and dental specialties– and using the most advanced technologies and instruments.
In addition to his work with STAR Dental Implant Center, Dr. Fernandez has owned his own private practice since 2015, has been an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at the Trauma Hospital in Costa Rica since 2015, and has been a faculty member at the University of Costa Rica since 2019.
