From Prevention to Restoration
We understand that for many people, the dental office brings anxiety and stress. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable, and relaxed throughout your treatment. Sedation is beneficial for people who are extremely anxious during a dental procedure.
The type of anesthesia recommended by our doctors is determined by the patient’s needs and the treatment they are receiving. Some treatments use local anesthesia and oral sedation, others may use IV conscious sedation, also known as “twilight” sedation”.
If your treatment requires, or you desire IV sedation we will engage an Anesthesiologist from the JCI-accredited CIMA Hospital to oversee the procedure.
The surgical procedure can begin once the sedation has been administered and the patient is comfortable.
